I spend an enourmous amout of time online reading and browsing sites. Half of the times I’m usually stuck clicking next and waiting for the page to load. How cool would it have been if I could just keep scrolling down and the pages kept loading at the bottom.
Here’s my newly found solution to go beyond page one.
Solution: Firefox + GreaseMonkey + AutoPagerize
- I am hoping you already use Firefox.
- GreaseMonkey is a firefox addon. Install it from here. (Firefox restart required)
- AutoPagerize is an user-script. Well keeping it simple it is a small program that runs on GreaseMoney. Install it from here. (No restart required)
And you are all ready to rock. See this video below, or maybe just skip it and do a google search by clicking this: Google Search and keep scrolling down ;)
Yeah, exacty like the video, just keep scrolling down to see next pages getting loaded automatically. Nice, ain’t it ?
Oh yes, this works with tons of websites - this, this, this and even this.
Just keep scrolling :)
According to Wikipedia,
A bookmarklet is an applet, a small computer application, stored as the URL of a bookmark in a web browser or as a hyperlink on a web page.
As the name suggests, a bookmarklet is basically a bookmark, only that it has special capabilities. These capabilities can be to change the look and feel of the current page or maybe save the current page in PDF format.
In the video below I have shown how you can save a bookmarklet and later use it: (Watch the video full-screen)
(I have used the Download PDF bookmarklet)
Create quick accessible bookmarks in Firefox
(Watch fullscreen)
